Nonprofit Rebrand and Website Redesign

  • The Indiana Wind Symphony is a nonprofit in Carmel, Indiana that’s been around for 25 years. They came to me with an outdated website that wasn’t working for them.

Their audience is mostly an older demographic, and ticket sales had plummeted after Covid. They were searching to market to a younger audience and bring some life back into their branding and website, and make it more functional.

  • I redesigned their website and we launched it in July 2022. I remapped the site, making tickets much easier to purchase and simplified the information making the site more visually appealing and easier to navigate.

The brand was outdated and without a defined color palette or font suite. The challenge was creating a brand that felt more modern without losing the classic traditionalism that makes the IWS who they are.

I created a simple brand mark and color palette that didn’t stray so far from the original that it was a shocking transformation, but made intentional changes so the new branding still feels like the IWS and emphasizes that they are adapting to the changing times.
